Catwoman89 was born in Wales, in the United Kingdom, and grew up in Northern New England. She now lives in Arizona with a husband with whom she is desperately, insanely, and monsterously in love. She teaches high school Honors English.

Catwoman89 holds a Baccalaureate  degree in English, with a concentration on American Literature, Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in Vocal Performance. She holds a Master's degree in Education, Magna Cum Laude.
